ACCEPT stands for Addictive Computer Companionship Experiential
Parental Training.
We also promote other programmes in community such as a tie up with
digital-gaming systems to provide hands-on training to parents.
Parents can also sign up for courses to learn about other digital
communication tools that their children are heavily involved in,
like MSN, Internet Chats, etc.
TriTouch-Bodynits Scholarship Presentation
Ceremony on 8 Apr 06
This is the second year running that we were awarded the Tri-Touch-Bodynits
Scholarship. In 2005, altogether 15 students with a passion for
the community benefited from this scholarship programme. Scholars
were perform project in the community with innovative to enrich
the life style of the designated community.
We are happy that Dr Maliki, Parliamentary Secretary of MCYS was
able to grace the occasion.
Racial Harmony ¨C colorful marathon
musical performance
North West Community Development Council, Singapore Management University,
ITE College East, Republic Polytechnic and Hwa Chong Institution
organized a Racial Harmony Event whereby schools in Woodlands were
invited to participate in this 24-hour Marathon event. The funds
raised were donated to ChildrenĄ¯s Aid Society, School Pocket Money
Fund and ECSS.
Community
Camp 2006 - 14 Dec to 16 Dec
Student
volunteers from Temasek Junior Collage, Duman High School and Maris
Steller secondary school organized a day camp to about 40 children
from Bedok North Estate. The children had a great time at this day
camp.
